Armando González's first goal arrived in the 34th minute (precisely the same number he wears on his Olympiacos jersey). The Mexican appeared inside the box to take advantage of a cross, and after winning position over the defense, he connected a precise header that ended up in the back of the net. With that goal, González gave Olympiacos the lead, and the footballer also provided an assist for Olympiacos' third goal in the 3-0 victory.

The Mexican forward is known for celebrating some of his goals with moves inspired by characters and techniques from Japanese series, particularly Dragon Ball.
One of his most recognized celebrations is precisely Goku's Kamehameha, a celebration he had already performed during his time with Chivas.
His love for anime was even used by Olympiacos itself during his presentation. The Greek club made references to Dragon Ball to welcome the Mexican player and published messages related to his “power level”.
The goal against AEL FC thus marks a fresh start for the Mexican striker, who in recent days became a trending topic on social media after being seen alone, distanced from his teammates. After La Hormiga's goal, all the Olympiacos players went to celebrate with him, putting to rest rumors of tension in the Greek club's locker room.
