Following Mexico's 2-0 defeat to Chile, some fans began to question Rafa Márquez's work as the new head coach of the Mexican National Team. However, David Faitelson, a sports commentator for TUDN, came to his defense and pointed to the performance of the players.

Furthermore, Faitelson described the FIFA window, in which Mexico drew with Colombia and Peru and lost to the United States and Chile, as “horrendous”.

Martinoli reacts to Chile's goals against Mexico
Meanwhile, the Chilean press highlighted Christian Martinoli's commentary for TV Azteca during La Roja's goals.
The outlet Al Aire Libre wrote: “On several occasions he laughed at some of the national team's plays... With the arrival of the goals, the tone of Martinoli and company changed”.
Martinoli highlighted the play by Maxi Gutiérrez, who scored the first goal against Mexico: “What a good move at speed, the Chilean team broke away”.
For the second goal, scored by Vicente Pizarro, the commentator expressed: “What a great goal Chile scored, holy mother”.
When does Mexico play again?
Mexico will face Jamaica in the CONCACAF Nations League Quarterfinals during the November FIFA window.
The second leg will be played at the BBVA stadium in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
