INAPAM establishes that the Productive Linkage program is aimed at older adults aged 60 or older who wish to join or continue carrying out productive activities.

1. Formal employment

INAPAM works with public and private companies interested in implementing inclusive labor practices. However, it is important to clarify that INAPAM is not the one that directly hires the person. The companies are responsible for carrying out the hiring and granting, where applicable, the corresponding benefits in accordance with labor legislation.
2. Volunteer Merchandise Bagger System
The second modality corresponds to the system of volunteer merchandise baggers in self-service stores.
In this case, the activity consists exclusively of packing the merchandise of the store's users. INAPAM clarifies that this modality does not generate an employment relationship between the store or the corporation and the older adult. The activity is voluntary and people receive a voluntary economic contribution from those who use the service.

The Institute expressly states that the service has no cost and is in-person.
