The official Mission Austria Facebook page confirmed her passing with the following post:
“We are deeply shocked and saddened by the news of the passing of our Miss Austria 2024, Lucia Sisic. We will remember Lucia as a wonderful young woman. At this difficult time, our thoughts and deepest condolences are with her family, her friends, and everyone close to her.
Dear Lucia, you will always be a part of our Miss Austria family. Rest in peace,” the organization wrote.
