After Alexis Ayala made his new relationship public four months after divorcing Cinthia Aparicio, the actress from Juegos de amor y poder revealed that she was the one who introduced him to his new partner.
In a Q&A session on Instagram, Aparicio answered one of the questions she was most frequently asked regarding her ex-partner's relationship.
The actress expressed that she was glad Alexis was in love and giving himself a new chance at love.
"I am very happy that Mister, that Alexis, is in love, he is giving himself another chance at love, I love it."
Furthermore, Aparicio revealed that she was the one who introduced him to Marieta, his new partner, as they had previously maintained a business connection. According to her, she used to sell her bags that she no longer wanted.
"I know Marieta, the lady; in fact, I introduced them, just in case it wasn't known, I introduced them a few years ago. I would send her my bags that I no longer wanted because she is in the business of selling bags, so that is why they know each other," she expressed.
Aparicio also assured that she wished Alexis the best in his new relationship and sent them both her blessings.
"I am very happy that they are dating, I wish them the best, one comes to this life to be happy, to be at peace, and if they are happy, God bless them and I wish them the best," she said.
The actress was the one who filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences, among which was her desire to start a family and have children, while Ayala did not want to do so, as he already had daughters from previous relationships.

Days earlier, actor and producer Alexis Ayala had spoken about his relationship with Marieta on the program Despierta América.
Ayala assured that Marieta was his "life partner" and that she offered him a "peace" he had never felt before.
"It's not that she's just a new partner, it's that she is a life partner, and that makes it a very different word. Marieta is gifting me a peace that I didn't know. There is maturity, there is a whole woman, and as they say in AA: 'just for today'," he recounted.
The actor revealed that they had both known each other for several years, although they had never seen each other in person until recently.
"We have known each other for four and a half years. We did some business together, always via telephone; we didn't know each other in person. We really met in person a couple of months ago."
He also affirmed that he was in love and "very happy" with his relationship, in addition to expressing that "life is for living and for giving yourself chances, and I have every right."
