The possibility of a wedding in the Kardashian-Jenner clan has reportedly sparked an unexpected rivalry between the sisters: Kylie Jenner is allegedly anxious to marry Timothée Chalamet, her partner since 2023, but Kendall Jenner's romance with Jacob Elordi could lead to an engagement before her own.
According to Page Six, close sources claim that Kylie feels jealous and frustrated at the possibility of her older sister reaching the altar first, even though she has been with the star of Dune and Wonka for longer.
Those close to them say that Kylie is ready to formalize her relationship with Chalamet; however, the actor does not yet feel ready to propose marriage.
"Kylie is ready to get engaged and has made it very clear to Timothée that she sees marriage in their future (...) she is not giving him ultimatums or demanding a ring, but she is certainly making her feelings clear and hopes he realizes it sooner rather than later (...) this is putting some pressure on Timothée to take the next step," said the source.
However, the 30-year-old "Wonka" star does not share the same opinion as his girlfriend. "Timothée loves Kylie very much and is very committed to their relationship, but he is simply not ready yet," the informant specified.
They added: "There is a sense that if he were to propose soon, it would be more because of the pressure he feels than because he is truly ready."
According to Page Six, 29-year-old Kylie Jenner is particularly uncomfortable with the idea that Kendall might marry before her, even though her relationship with Jacob Elordi is more recent.
A source cited by the outlet claimed that people in the inner circle of both couples believe that Kendall and Jacob could reach the altar first.
Kylie, who shares two children with her ex-partner Travis Scott, has been in a relationship with Timothée Chalamet since 2023. For her part, Kendall, who for years has kept her relationships away from public commitments, began a relationship with Jacob Elordi in 2026 and both have been seen together at various events.
