On September 9, 2026, the Presidency of Mexico reported that the 2027 Economic Package contemplates guaranteeing Well-being Programs with increases above inflation.
How much will senior citizens receive with the 2027 Well-being Pension increase?
In 2026, the Well-being Pension for Senior Citizens delivers 6,400 pesos every two months, equivalent to 3,200 pesos per month if the support is distributed between the two months of the period.
For 2027, the exact deposit amount has not yet been officially confirmed. But, for example, if a hypothetical 5% increase were used, the current 6,400 pesos would become 6,720 pesos bimonthly. This figure is only a mathematical exercise and does not constitute an official estimate or an amount announced for 2027.

In 2026, deposits are organized during the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Therefore, the first payment of 2027 would be expected in January, subject to the calendar published by the Secretariat of Well-being.
