Following the murder of Camilo Séptimo keyboardist Jonathan “Honas” Meléndez, the musician's followers have recalled his last Instagram post, a video in which the band highlighted their performance at the Palacio de los Deportes on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

“One night. One portal. Thousands of navigators. We still haven't processed all the energy and vibes we experienced at the Palacio de los Deportes. A night that will stay in our hearts forever,” the band members wrote together.
On his Instagram account, Jonathan “Honas” Meléndez was not very active, as most of his posts were related to the band. He also used to share his trips to different places, such as Los Cabos and Paris, behind-the-scenes footage of Camilo Séptimo rehearsals, as well as moments with his dogs: Mila, Nala, Sukinga, and Luni.
At the time of writing this note, Camilo Séptimo has not yet released a statement following the death of their keyboardist. However, fans have left messages of support and dismay following the shocking news.
“Rest in peace, Jonathan!”, “Rest in peace, Jonathan. Justice for you and your family. A hug and much strength to everyone”, “I am dismayed”, “It is shocking, raw, and very sad news. There are no words for this great, great loss. Our condolences to all the families of those affected. Fly high, Jon, thank you for so much”, some fans wrote.
In the comments, the Chilean band St. Mängata also wrote their condolences.

Camilo Séptimo tour: what will happen to their upcoming concerts?
The band, originally from Mexico City and featuring six studio albums, was set to continue their “Mapas II” tour. Following the death of Jonathan “Honas” Meléndez, it is still unknown whether the band will hold their upcoming dates or cancel them.
