What was Jorge Kahwagi's boxing career like?
Originally from Mexico City, Jorge Kahwagi made his professional boxing debut on November 10, 2001. His first fight was against Perry Williams, whom he defeated by technical knockout in the first round.
In total, he participated in 11 fights between 2001 and 2005, all ending in victory by knockout or technical knockout. However, his career was questioned due to the quality of some of his opponents.

While developing his political career in the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico, Kahwagi requested a leave of absence from Congress in 2004 to participate in Big Brother VIP 3, a decision that generated criticism among legislators.
When he entered the Televisa reality show, his leave request had not yet been approved. Kahwagi had requested a temporary separation from his position without pay.
Although he did not win the program, he reached the final and took third place, trailing only Sergio Mayer, who finished second, and Roxana Castellanos, who was crowned the winner.
