Mexican singer Belinda leads the 2026 'The 50 Most Beautiful' list by People en Español magazine, which also placed Colombian star Karol G, Dominican actress Zoe Saldaña, Puerto Rican model Dayanara Torres, and Mexican basketball player Karim López in prominent positions.
The publication, which described the Mexican artist born in Spain as "unstoppable" and possessing a "good sense of humor," highlighted her projects this year, such as her starring role in 'Carlota,' the upcoming HBO historical series about the empress of Mexico of the same name, and her song 'Por ella' for the World Cup.
"Thoughts, energy, values, education—for me, all of that is beauty, and I pay more and more attention to those details, and those details make a person beautiful inside and out," the 36-year-old singer and actress commented to the magazine regarding her nomination.
In its music section, People en Español chose Colombian star Karol G as the standout, followed by Mexican singer Danna Paola, Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi, Colombian artist Feid, and Cuban artist Cimafunk.
In the acting category, Dominican actress Zoe Saldaña leads the list, followed by Mexican actress Sofía Castro—daughter of actress and former first lady Angélica Rivera—as well as Brazilian actor Marcus Ornellas, Jennifer Lopez, and Colombian actress Danna García.
Meanwhile, in the television and podcast host classification, 1993 Miss Universe Dayanara Torres appears in first place, ahead of Venezuelan host Rodner Figueroa, Colombian actress Carmen Villalobos, Puerto Rican actress Karla Monroig, and Cuban host William Valdés.
And in the sports classification, People highlighted Karim López, the first Mexican chosen in the first round of the NBA draft, as well as Mexican cyclist Isaac del Toro, Cuban-American baseball player Fernando Mendoza, Mexican soccer referee Katia Itzel García, and Spanish soccer player Lamine Yamal.
"The people featured on this list are just a sample of the fact that sports increasingly have a Latino face and a Spanish accent," the publication noted.
