Luis de Llano's name has once again sparked controversy following his recent statements regarding the legal process he is facing against Sasha Sokol, a former member of the group Timbiriche. The producer refused to apologize and explained why, despite the fact that said apology was required by law.
The controversy between Luis de Llano and Sasha Sokol began in 2022, when the celebrity spoke publicly on Yordi Rosado's YouTube show about the relationship he had with the singer when she was a minor (she was 14 years old) and he was an adult (he was 39 years old).
Following these statements, Sasha pointed out that the relationship had emotional consequences for her and she decided to take legal action. It was in 2023 that the singer and actress revealed that the producer was convicted of moral damages through a sentence issued by a court of the Superior Court of Justice of Mexico City. She indicated that De Llano was required to offer a public apology and "refrain from talking about what happened again and pay compensation."

In an interview for Venga La Alegría, the Mexican producer asserted that he stands by his position and will not offer a public apology to the singer, despite the legal resolution compelling him to do so. He explained the reasons why he will not apologize to Sokol, for now:
"That apology is an injunction, and when you have something that you appeal and seek an injunction for, you don't have to do it, but I am always in the best disposition," he argued, making it clear that if he has not offered an apology, it is because the matter remains within a legal process.
Regarding the financial compensation, he also did not want to comment: "No, no, I have nothing to share, nothing to say about it. I think it is something that became media-driven, on one side, well, it went viral and that is what spread. Don't ask me about that because I cannot answer you. It is something I have kept to myself... I cannot speak about any of that. The court ordered me not to speak about that," he noted.
Likewise, he was asked for his opinion on Sasha Sokol's decision not to reunite with Timbiriche again, to which he replied that he was not going to talk about the subject, although he said he remembers the musical project fondly.
"I cannot talk about that, nor do I want to talk about that, nor do I mention it. Timbiriche was an era, it was a wonderful concept that worked and hopefully some will continue to remember, because Timbiriche sang to life, sang to love, sang to the mother, sang to the father. That is the magic of Timbiriche," he concluded.
