The Sinaloan influencer known as La Beba learned of the murder of influencer César Gastélum during a live broadcast on TikTok.
It was her followers who informed her of the news while she was doing the live stream. At first, the content creator thought it was a joke.

"I don't believe it... Oh, no. I'll check it right now," the influencer expressed.
After searching for information on the internet and confirming what happened, La Beba revealed that they both had plans to see each other the next day.
"We had a date tomorrow. He was going to bring me a serenade," she asserted.
The broadcast apparently ended after the person accompanying her showed her a video in which the attack on César Gastélum is allegedly observed.

According to their social media accounts, César Gastélum and La Beba were linked by their followers after collaborating on a series of videos for different platforms. However, neither confirmed a romantic relationship.
After the influencer's murder became known, users on social media revisited those collaborations, especially two videos in which César Gastélum used the song "La Cita Fresita 2.0" by Grupo Aztteca.
The song is pointed out by users as a narcocorrido, as it contains references to a lifestyle related to organized crime.
Furthermore, in its lyrics, it makes reference to wearing a hat, an object that is associated with La Mayiza, a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel, led by Ismael Zambada Sicairos, alias "El Mayito Flaco," which is currently in conflict with Los Chapitos over territory.
One of its stanzas says:
Girl, if you want me to be sincere
I've been wearing the hat for a while now
Yes, I'm a gangster, so why all the fuss?
I'm not going to hide it anymore
That the job I have is dangerous
But to take care of us, I carry my horn [slang for rifle]
Never be afraid to be with me
Just let yourself be carried away
Now you know where the money comes from
Either you stay or you go.

The last post that César Gastélum shared on Instagram was a reel with La Beba. In the video, the influencer can be seen dancing to the rhythm of "La Cita Fresita 2.0," while the content creator appears in a red dress. In front of them, a bouquet of roses is visible on a table.
"The true 'cincita' [little date] date," César wrote in the caption of the post.
In a second video, published only on TikTok, César used the same song again. On this occasion, he appears sitting next to La Beba.
"I'll bring the sushi and you bring the ass," was the phrase he used to accompany the TikTok.
For her part, La Beba also shared two videos on TikTok and a carousel of photos on Instagram, where she appears with the bouquet of roses and kissing César Gastélum on the cheek.
For the TikTok videos, she used a Lana del Rey song and a viral audio that alluded to them just getting to know each other.
"They say that if I want to have a boyfriend, they say I have to find someone better, sorry," the audio says.
And it continues:
"Better than me, who?"
