The documentary about Melania Trump, which will premiere in theaters on January 30, will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the life of the elusive US first lady, according to the first trailer for the film shared this Wednesday on her social media channels.

"Here we go again," warns the 55-year-old Slovenian former model in the first seconds of the teaser, wearing the now-iconic wide-brimmed hat and navy coat she wore to the second inauguration of her husband, President Donald Trump.
"Everyone wants to know. So here it is," the first lady invites.
In just over a minute, the trailer shows Melania as a "witness to history in the making" during the moments leading up to her return to the White House, including the creation process of the black and white dress she wore at the inaugural ball last January, and the first months of Trump's second term.
"For the first time, audiences around the world are invited into theaters to witness the unfolding of this crucial chapter: an intimate and unfiltered look at my life as I balance family, business, and philanthropy on my extraordinary path to becoming the first lady of the United States," Melania told Fox News.
The teaser shows the former model in her official role, divided between the White House, the Trumps' penthouse in New York, and her husband's preferred residence, the Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, as she provides privileged access to private moments while returning to public life.
Melania herself is the executive producer of the documentary, directed by Brett Ratner, a filmmaker known for the 'Rush Hour' saga and for the sexual misconduct allegations made against him at the start of the 'Me Too' movement in 2017.
The 104-minute film will be distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, which won the rights in a bidding war against other entertainment giants like Netflix and Disney, in a historic $40 million purchase—considered the largest amount ever paid for a documentary, according to Fox News.
The film is seen as another step in Melania's opening up to the American public, following the publication of a memoir in late 2024.
Melania Trump had previously stated that during her husband's first term (2017-2021), people perhaps did not understand or accept her "as they do now."
"Some might only see me as the president's wife, but I am independent, I have my own ideas, and my yeses and noes. I don't always agree with what my husband says or does, and that's okay," she explained last January.
