Who is Gala Montes?
Gala Montes is a Mexican actress and singer who was born on August 4, 2000, in Mexico City.
Montes began her acting career in childhood. She made her debut at age six in the Mexican version of The Nanny, in 2007. Later, she continued participating in various television productions until 2021, when she obtained her first starring role in the telenovela Diseñando tu amor.
She also participated in two seasons of El Señor de los Cielos as Luz Marina and in Prime Video movies like ¡Hasta la madre del Día de las Madres!
In 2018, Montes released the single Si te atreves, with which she ventured into the music world.
In 2025, she participated in the Supernova Strikers content creator boxing match, where she lost to Alana Flores.

Gala Montes had already participated in the second season of La Casa de los Famosos México, where she finished in third place as one of the finalists. Her return in this new edition was motivated by the release of her new album "La hija de nadie" and by her interest in telling "her truth," following the distancing from her family.
“I entered here because I want to promote my album and I am interested in being here to be able to tell you my truth, because I was never given the opportunity, but I want to take advantage of it,” she commented to her fellow contestants.
In addition, she said that she returned because she wants to win the season, as she considers that she should have won the second edition and that during her participation she provided a lot of content.
“I am that type of person who likes to repeat, especially if you lose... if I say so, well, I really want to win. I feel that I should have won the other House because, well, I fought hard, I defended a lot, I gave a lot of content, I know I'm kind of funny, I know I do it with style,” she explained.
In that same conversation, she pointed out that La Casa de los Famosos México was not a “spiritual retreat” and that the participants receive payment for being on the show and providing content.
“If you want to go to a spiritual retreat, man, let's go to Thailand, and bathe elephants and all that, how cool, and smoke marijuana, whatever you want, but here, man, you don't come for that. And yes, they pay you, and a ton.”
