Alejandra Guzmán set off alarms during her concert in Veracruz after suffering a severe physical mishap just minutes after stepping onto the stage. The tried to stay on her feet and continue with the show, but the discomfort increased, forcing her to stop the performance and receive medical attention, but what happened to her? The incident occurred on the night of September 19 at the World Trade Center Veracruz. In videos circulating on social media, the performer can be seen having difficulty staying on her feet while two of her dancers approach to help her.

Despite her attempts to continue, the pain ended up preventing her from staying in front of the audience: "I can't walk," the artist said while her dancers helped her stay upright.

It was Alejandra herself who explained what was happening in the middle of the performance. "Excuse me, my hip popped out," she told her followers. The phrase caused concern among those in attendance, as the singer acknowledged she didn't know what to do and asked for a doctor to come assist her.

Minutes after the mishap, medical staff arrived on stage to attend to her. The performance was suspended and the was taken by ambulance to a private hospital, where she was evaluated by specialists to determine the extent of the injury, according to reports.

Hours later, the star reappeared on her social media with a message to reassure her followers and clarify what happened: "Thank God they put my hip back in place, and I am doing well thanks to the great doctor Eduardo Arévalo," she wrote.

In addition to providing an update on her health status, Silvia Pinal's daughter also reported that the concert would be rescheduled once she finishes her recovery: "This date, this concert, has been paused, so we will be back very soon with all the rock-and-roll strength in this great place. I love you, Alejandra Guzmán."

This is not the first time Alejandra Guzmán has suffered an accident related to her hip problems. Over the last few years, the artist has had to resort to titanium prostheses in both hips, in addition to facing complications related to a biopolymer procedure performed in 2009.

At the beginning of this year, Alejandra Guzmán suffered a fall at her home which, according to reports at the time, also caused a hip dislocation.

According to the singer, she has undergone more than 50 surgeries over the last eleven years, including hip surgeries, aesthetic procedures, the removal of "lumps" in her body, the excision of a cancerous tumor, and spinal surgery.
