Salma Hayek talks about aging and her physique
In an interview with Glamour, Hayek spoke about the aging process and confessed that, due to her age, she thought she would no longer be working; however, that was not the case. Additionally, she added that she does not feel her body has changed physically.
“I thought aging meant I wouldn't work anymore; but I'm working. I thought aging maybe meant you wouldn't be in love anymore; but I am in love. I don't feel like I've lost my flexibility, my agility, or even my strength”.
Regarding her relationship with her husband, François-Henri Pinault, she expressed that she is happy to be aging alongside him.
“I have to say that I find it beautiful to age with someone,” she said.
Salma Hayek is now a grandmother
Just two weeks ago, Hayek welcomed little François, the child of François Pinault Jr., her husband's son, and his partner, Maria Lara Cosima.
In the post, Hayek joked that although the baby is the fourth to carry the name François, she would call him “Panchito”.
“We are lucky enough to welcome the fourth living generation of François. Although I will call him Panchito. It seems he loves it, and I couldn't love him more,” she wrote.
In the video that accompanied the tender message, the actress can be seen holding the baby while making him laugh by calling him “Panchito”.
“Panchito, Panchito... your granny makes you laugh so much, we are cracking up, little one, beautiful... my cute Panchito, who is it? Who is it? You, my love,” says Hayek in the video.
