Which scholarships for students are still available in September 2026?
- Beca Rita Cetina primaria y secundaria (en junio pasado, el coordinador nacional de Becas Bienestar, Julio León, informó que se abrirían los registros para septiembre)
- Mi Beca para Empezar (las autoridades informaron que el registro de nuevo ingreso estará disponible hasta el 30 de octubre)
- Beca Fundación Telmex Telcel (registro y entrega de documentos hasta el 29 de septiembre)
- Becas de Aprovechamiento Escolar 2026 (registro hasta el 25 de septiembre, dependiendo de la escolaridad).
Rita Cetina Scholarship 2026: how much money does it give?
The Rita Cetina Scholarship is aimed at students in public basic education schools. In primary school, there is specific support for uniforms and school supplies, which consists of a payment of 2,500 pesos per student per year. The first payment for this modality was made in August 2026.
For secondary school, the support is different:
- $1,900 pesos bimestrales por familia.
- $700 pesos adicionales por cada estudiante adicional de secundaria dentro de la familia.
Requirements:
- Tener una hija, hijo o menor a tu cuidado inscrito en una primaria o secundaria pública de modalidad escolarizada
- El estudiante debe estar inscrito en un plantel de educación básica pública
- No recibir simultáneamente otra beca educativa federal para el mismo fin
- CURP de la madre, padre, tutora o tutor
- Identificación oficial
- Comprobante de domicilio
- CURP de la alumna o alumno
- Clave del Centro de Trabajo (CCT) de la escuela
Mi Beca para Empezar: how much money does it give?
The monthly amount depends on the educational level:
- Preescolar: $600 pesos al mes
- Primaria: $650 pesos al mes
- Secundaria: $650 pesos al mes
- CAM: $600 pesos al mes.
Requirements:
- Estar inscrito en una escuela pública de educación básica de CDMX
- Ser estudiante de preescolar, primaria o secundaria
- Contar con Llave CDMX del tutor
- Tener CURP del estudiante
- Contar con un correo electrónico y teléfono.
Telmex Telcel Foundation Scholarship
In addition to the Welfare Scholarships, there is an option that is especially important for those looking for 2026 university scholarships.
The Telmex Telcel Foundation keeps its 2026 call for applications open for Mexican undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. The call includes up to 5,000 scholarships. The deadline for receipt of the application and documents is Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
Requirements:
- Ser estudiante regular de licenciatura, maestría o doctorado.
- Tener un promedio general mínimo de 8.5.
- No contar con materias reprobadas o con condición de N.P.
- Estar inscrito entre el primer y antepenúltimo periodo de los estudios correspondientes.
- Completar correctamente la solicitud en línea.
- Presentar la documentación solicitada.
- Mantener el promedio requerido para el refrendo semestral.
- Acreditar el programa ASUME durante el primer año de la beca.
2026 School Achievement Scholarships
The 2026 School Achievement Scholarships are from the Union of Teachers at the Service of the State of Mexico (SMSEM), and are aimed at the sons and daughters of teachers affiliated with the union.
Requirements:
- Promedio mínimo de 8.5
- Tener todas las materias aprobadas
- Ser hija o hijo de un docente afiliado al Sindicato de Maestros al Servicio del Estado de México (SMSEM)
- Presentar la documentación requerida en la convocatoria
- Entregar la documentación en los lugares y durante los días señalados por el SMSEM.
