For example, if a person receives a monthly pension of 10,000 pesos, their annual Christmas bonus would be approximately that amount.
The IMSS specifies that the amount corresponding to family allowances or assistance aids is not considered when determining the Christmas bonus.

The Institute points out that the Christmas bonus for pensioners due to Old Age or Advanced Age under the legislation in force until June 30, 1997, is delivered during that month.
