There is no confirmed information to state that Galilea Montijo suffered a new facial paralysis. The speculations arose after users observed her gestures in a recent video from the show Hoy.
In the images, a supposed "tension" can be seen on one side of Montijo's face, which is why some claimed she might still be suffering from the aftereffects. As she explained on the podcast Bajo la Piel, hosted by Dr. Marimar Guerra, the intervention was performed in February and her recovery ended up being much more complicated than she expected.
After the surgery, the host experienced swelling and received instructions to apply an anti-inflammatory liquid. However, she stated that the product caused a reaction that ended in second and third-degree burns on her neck. Galilea explained that she began to notice her mouth drifting to one side and that she had difficulty controlling one of her eyes.
