Diego N, identified as the alleged perpetrator of the multiple homicide of Jonathan Meléndez and his family, reportedly cried after being detained. According to information released about the case, the businessman went into a crisis in front of the police officers who arrested him after he had committed the crime.
Journalist Antonio Nieto revealed to Aristegui Noticias that officers who had contact with the detainee described how the man of Argentine origin reacted when he was arrested. Likewise, he claimed that he had been betrayed by his friend. "He expresses in a sort of justification that his friend ‘stole from him,’ that the business went wrong, and that he was the one who lost out," Nieto recounted.
