The rock band Camilo Séptimo announced that it will postpone some of its upcoming concerts, as its members “require time to feel and heal” following the murder of their keyboardist Jonathan ‘Honas’ Meléndez.
In a statement, the group informed that the following dates will be postponed:
- 19 de septiembre en Ciudad Juárez
- 26 de septiembre en Naucalli
- 10 de octubre en Pachuca
Meanwhile, the concert scheduled for October 3 in Neza was canceled because they were unable to reschedule it. The band, led by Manuel Mendoza, assured their fans that they regretted not being able to see them on that date.
The performers of "Como Tú" noted that they will take “a pause” to reorganize and “define, together, the next steps”.
Likewise, they assured that this pause does not mean the end of the band and that they will continue for Honas, as well as “for all those who have accompanied us all these years”.
The group also deeply thanked “the love, understanding, and respect we have received during these difficult days”.
Regarding the rest of the tour, as well as future projects and new dates, Camilo Séptimo asked its followers to stay tuned to their official channels.
Finally, they explained that those who need information about refunds can contact the company or platform where they purchased their tickets.
