Carlos Rivera had to postpone some dates of his international ¡Vida México! Tour 2026 due to a health issue.
In a statement posted on Instagram, the singer of “Que Lo Nuestro Se Quede Nuestro” revealed that he had been “dealing with a vocal cord injury” for some time.
Although he assured that he had done “everything possible” to “take care of himself” and continue performing on stage, he explained that he reached a point where, if he continued, he could hurt himself “even more”.
Rivera explained that, on his doctors' orders, he had to rest for “a month,” the time needed for his vocal cords to recover “properly”.
Likewise, he indicated that the concerts he would be postponing would be those scheduled in Bogota, Medellin, El Salvador, and Guatemala.
The singer assured his fans that “if it weren't truly necessary, I would never make such a decision” and promised that the new dates would be announced “soon”.
Rivera also indicated that he hoped to resume his tour starting October 23, the date on which his concert in Tlaxcala is scheduled.

- Guatemala: del 9 de octubre se reprogramó para el 9 de abril de 2027.
- El Salvador: del 10 de octubre se reprogramó para el 10 de abril de 2027.
- Bogotá: del 2 de octubre se reprogramó para el 15 de abril de 2027.
- Medellín: del 3 de octubre se reprogramó para el 17 de abril de 2027.
Carlos Rivera and Cynthia Rodríguez are expecting their second baby
In June of this year, Carlos Rivera and his wife, Cynthia Rodríguez, announced that they would be parents for the second time and that their baby would be named María.
Since then, Cynthia has shared images of her pregnancy progress on social media. Recently, she posted a photo where she is wearing a pink dress and her pregnancy is more noticeable.
"My María, my princess... We don't know you yet and you already occupy an immense place in our hearts. We dream of you, we wait for you, and we love you more every day," wrote Cynthia.
"My beauties," commented Rivera.
