The information regarding the alleged $250,000 payment was released in the 'Naughty But Nice' column by journalist Rob Shuter. According to this version, the agreement included conditions regarding the topics Harry could address during the conversation.
The communicator claimed that for his appearance in the Masterclass 'Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss,' the Duke of Sussex charged a considerable amount of money.
"Harry is not just any celebrity guest (...) the guarantee was $250,000, and in exchange for that money, he agreed to talk about his mother, Princess Diana," he revealed.
However, before participating in the Masterclass, Meghan Markle's husband allegedly set some boundaries. "Harry was willing to talk about Diana, about grief, and about the loss of his mother. What he was not willing to talk about was William, Kate, or his uncle Andrew (...) those topics were taboo," he said.
Shuter indicated that this represents a radical shift from the Duke of Sussex's previous business strategy: "This time, Harry isn't selling royal secrets (...) he is selling his own memories. And those memories are worth a quarter of a million dollars," he commented.
