American actress Jennifer Lawrence debuted on Instagram, only to shortly thereafter threaten to leave the platform if she receives "anything negative" from her fans.
"If anyone says anything negative, I will leave immediately. Without a doubt. If anyone thinks something bad, I will know. I will know it and I will leave," the 'Hunger Games' actress joked with a serious expression while looking into the camera, in a video posted to her account.
In one of her Instagram stories, the Oscar-winning actress, through a written message, said that "any hurtful or aggressive comment" could negatively affect "the baby."
"It's me. I am the baby," she joked.
Lawrence activated her account on Wednesday and, just a day later, the actress posted the warning messages, in line with the sarcastic tone that characterizes her.
As she explains in her biography, she could not use her name to create the username @jenniferlawrence because it "was already taken," so she opted for @jlaw.
In a 2018 interview with InStyle, Lawrence, reluctant to join social media, confessed that she maintained a secret profile: "I am on there, but I am a 'voyeur.' I watch, I don't speak."
"If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter account that claims to be mine, it almost certainly is not," she stated then.
