“Well, Aleks Syntek, whom I truly regret—I really regret—that he has decided to do what he is doing with his career and his communication,” the journalist began, highlighting the controversy surrounding the 56-year-old singer.
“I have always respected him, he seems like a great musician and that is why I regret what is happening to him. I also regret it because I know he has a family... I also have a family and precisely for that reason, I ask Aleks Syntek not to mess with me and not to bring back to memory a very unfortunate episode that already hurt us enough as a family,” the communicator pointed out on her program, De Pisa y Corre.
“I insist, I regret whatever is happening to him, but don't mess with me, Aleks, because I have always respected you, so let's keep it that way, please,” she added directly.
What happened between Aleks Syntek and Paola Rojas?
In context, Zague was at the center of a scandal in 2018, during the World Cup in Russia, when he appeared in an intimate video without clothes and showing his genitals; at that time, he was the partner of the journalist. That clip went viral on social media, sparking a scandal within the artistic and sports world.
In the live broadcast he conducted, Syntek improvised a song, which he mentioned as his “new single,” about the topic of Zague and Paola Rojas, saying: “Zague has it really big” and “Paola Rojas is to blame for what Zague did.”
The recent controversy that dragged in Rojas and Zague occurs during one of the most controversial episodes in the professional and private life of Aleks Syntek, unleashed by the concert he gave on September 15 in the Benito Juárez borough, where he lashed out against reggaeton and its exponents, and where he verbally assaulted those attending the show.
In the broadcast, he commented that he had apologized to Mayor Luis Mendoza for what happened on stage, although he avoided apologizing to the public, assuming that they will never forgive him.
“Yes, I am mentally unbalanced, I am crazy,” said the celebrity in the live stream, and later mentioned several figures from the entertainment world, historical figures, and even religious figures in a “song,” with the tone of De noche en la ciudad, in which he talks about how “Mexico is crazy” and highlights that Paola Rojas is to blame for what happened with her ex.
In said improvisation, the singer compared himself to Salvador Dalí, the Virgin of Guadalupe, Jesus Christ, Javier ‘El Chicharito’ Hernández, Benito Juárez, Frida Kahlo, Thalía, Picasso, and Copernicus.
