Ricardo Arjona surprised his friend Pocho, a former taxi driver from Mexico City who inspired the song 'Historia de un taxi', with an emotional gift to thank him for their years of friendship and work together.
Through Instagram, the singer of 'El problema' shared with his followers the moment he reunited with his friend to give him a surprise.

In the video, the Guatemalan singer recalled that he met Pocho many years ago, when he was working as a taxi driver in Mexico City. Over time, he joined his production team and became a set designer for 12 of his tours.
"People don't know you, but they don't know how important you are. I'm going to tell you why we are here. For us, returning to Mexico is a celebration. For us, you are a celebration. I met you in this area... many years ago. Pocho was a taxi driver and I hailed a taxi on that corner and that's where I met you. [Pocho] became my set designer... 12 tours, I mean, a whole lifetime," Arjona expressed.
As a token of appreciation for his friendship and the years they worked together, the singer met him at the place where they first met to gift him a yellow Volkswagen Beetle.
Arjona explains in the video that Pocho drove a yellow taxi when they first met.
"I had forgotten what color your taxi was, I thought it was still green, but no, it was still one of those yellow ones. Look what's here on the corner. We decided to pay you tribute, and that is for you... you know that we love you very much, we admire you a lot," he detailed.
Pocho, in disbelief at the surprise, thanked him for the gift and recalled that a set design that Arjona had previously gifted him had also been a great help.
