Mexican driver Sergio 'Checo' Pérez, of the Cadillac Formula 1 team, will celebrate his 300th Grand Prix in the highest category of motorsport on October 28 with a drive through one of Mexico City's main streets.
"Driving through Paseo de la Reforma in front of my fans is always an incredible feeling, but doing it with the Cadillac team during our first season together makes it even more special," the driver stated.
The event, called 'Show Run', will take place before the F1 Mexico Grand Prix, which will be held on November 1 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in the Mexican capital.
"Reaching 300 Grand Prix races is a milestone that fills me with pride in my career, and there is no better place to start that celebration than back on the streets of Mexico City alongside the fans who have supported me every step of the way. I'm looking forward to bringing the party to Reforma and kicking off a spectacular race week," said Pérez.
Checo, who began his Formula 1 journey with the Sauber team in 2011, before moving to McLaren in 2013 and continuing with Force India, Racing Point, and Red Bull Racing until 2024, will have his first appearance in Mexico with the Cadillac team, which made its debut this season.
The Mexican driver has already carried out this route on previous occasions with some of the teams he has been a part of.

This 'Show Run' is an opportunity to take the excitement of Formula 1 beyond the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez and bring it closer to thousands of fans in one of the most iconic places in Mexico City," said Federico González Compeán, Director General of the Mexico City Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Marcin Budkowski, Director of the Cadillac team, also expressed his excitement about the opportunity his team will have to be seen by the Mexican fans.
"For the Cadillac F1 team, competing for the first time in Mexico City is a source of great pride, and doing it just as Checo reaches his 300th Grand Prix makes it even more significant," said Budkowski.
