This match marked the first chapter of a career that Kai Antonio will seek to build far from the shadow of his father, who is considered one of the best soccer players in the history of Mexico and an unconventional player, as in addition to performing as a goalkeeper, he also managed to score goals and alternate both positions during his career.

According to available reports, Campos's heir was born in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada—his mother Marcy Ralston's hometown—on July 25, 2006, but he grew up and studied in Los Angeles.
His soccer development took place mainly in the United States, where he played college soccer for the Cal State Fullerton Titans in NCAA Division I, before making the jump to professional soccer in Canada, where he was signed in Toronto on February 6 of this year, according to TransferMark.
