Six Flags parks in the United States have prepared a grand summer celebration to commemorate the country's 250th anniversary, with a series of special activities that will combine entertainment, history, gastronomy, and shows at 17 of their theme parks located across the country.
The company announced that the festivities will take place during the July 4th weekend and will be accompanied by spectacular fireworks shows, themed decorations, interactive guest experiences, exclusive food, and special promotions for season pass holders.
Fuegos artificiales y ambiente patriótico este 4 de julio
One of the main attractions will be fireworks displays that will light up the sky between July 3rd and July 5th. Each park will offer performances accompanied by patriotic music and a production specially designed for the occasion.
From the entrance, visitors will find a festive atmosphere with flags, garlands, banners, and stages decorated in red, white, and blue. Additionally, there will be spaces specifically designed for photos, including monumental structures with the commemorative anniversary logo and various themed sets distributed throughout the complexes.
Juegos, entretenimiento y actividades para toda la familia
The celebrations will include unique offerings at each park. Attendees will be able to enjoy everything from flag-raising ceremonies and musical performances to costumed characters, dancers, and roaming entertainers.
Among the interactive activities, highlights include dad joke contests, trivia about American culture and history, and themed dynamics inspired by historical figures. There will also be commemorative coloring pages and other participatory experiences for both children and adults.
Menú especial por tiempo limitado
In honor of the celebration, Six Flags will offer a line of food and beverages inspired by traditional American flavors.
Notable options include patriotic vanilla cake with red, white, and blue layers; funnel cake decorated with ice cream and themed sprinkles; tricolor parfaits; special milkshakes; and commemorative drinks made with ingredients inspired by the American flag.
The partnership between Six Flags and Coca-Cola will also allow visitors to purchase packages that include park admission, unlimited drinks throughout the day, and a complimentary Dasani water bottle, with the exception of Six Flags Darien Lake.
Un recorrido por la historia de los parques de diversiones
In addition to the festivities, the company will highlight some of the most iconic historical attractions at its parks.
These include Thunderhawk at Dorney Park, a wooden roller coaster operating since 1924; Blue Streak at Cedar Point; Racer at Kings Island; and The Great American Revolution at Six Flags Magic Mountain, considered the world's first modern looping roller coaster when it opened in 1976.
