The National Housing Commission (Conavi) has reopened registration for the 2026 Welfare Housing program in 15 states of the Mexican Republic. This program is aimed at low-income individuals who wish to access a house without having a mortgage loan from Infonavit (Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers) or Fovissste (Housing Fund of the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers). Do you want to own your own home? If so, learn about the requirements, how to sign up, and the entities where you can carry out the process. Take note!

If owning your own home is among your short- and medium-term plans, but you do not have an Infonavit or Fovissste loan, there is the option of the Welfare Housing program. These homes are granted through a process in which authorities evaluate your profile; once you obtain the house, you are offered facilities to pay for it.
