The position is aimed at people with previous agricultural experience who are willing to travel to perform their duties in the United States. The work schedule is full-time, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, although there may be variations on some days based on field requirements.
Requirements for agricultural work in the United States
Those interested in participating in the selection process must meet the following requirements:
Minimum academic level: Primary school.
2 to 3 years of experience as an agricultural worker.
Knowledge in harvesting round, grape, and Roma tomatoes.
Experience in field cleaning.
Staking and removal of stakes.
Handling plastic for drip irrigation and filtration systems.
Selection and sorting of tomato varieties.
Use of tools such as pitchforks, stakes, hoes, rakes, and pickaxes.
No proficiency in another language is required.
Additionally, candidates must demonstrate skills such as teamwork, commitment, results orientation, motivation, autonomy, effective communication, proactivity, and the ability to maintain quality standards in their tasks.
Activities to be performed by the hired personnel
Selected individuals will participate in various tasks related to tomato production, including:
Planting grape and round tomatoes.
Repairing polyethylene pipes and leaks in drip irrigation systems.
Removing side shoots from tomato plants.
Removing plastic, drip tape, and ropes used during cultivation.
Collecting and grouping stakes.
Placing ropes to keep plants in a vertical position.
Post-harvest cleaning tasks.
The goal is to support all stages of cultivation, from land preparation to post-harvest activities.
