New details of the multiple homicide that occurred at the home of Jonathan Meléndez, keyboardist for Camilo Séptimo, have come to light. According to journalist Carlos Jiménez (C4jiménez), the alleged murderer, identified as Diego Sebastián “N”, had his driver and alleged accomplice, Gerardo “N”, buy various items that he would allegedly use to commit the crime.

The new information was revealed by the journalist on his social media and in an interview with Azucena Uresti from Radio Fórmula. As he explained, Diego Sebastián “N” gave money to Gerardo “N” to buy “gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints at the scene, gray industrial tape with which he tied them up, plastic zip ties, and he told him it was because they were going to do a job”.
In addition, according to the reports, Gerardo “N” allegedly helped Diego Sebastián “N” escape after knowing he had killed the musician and his family, which is why he will also be charged by the authorities.

Carlos Jiménez also explained that, according to forensic reports, Diego Sebastián “N” allegedly murdered Jonathan Meléndez, his wife who was four months pregnant, his three-year-old daughter, his domestic worker, and his pet in an hour and a half.
As detailed, the murders, which occurred on the night of September 1st, were allegedly committed between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm. After that, Diego Sebastián “N” continued searching for the “money” (a supposed memory stick with information about 30 million pesos in cryptocurrencies) at the residence located in Atizapán de Zaragoza, State of Mexico.
What did the alleged murderer do after the multiple homicide?
Following his arrest by the authorities, Diego Sebastián “N” allegedly attempted to bribe agents and police officers from the Prosecutor's Office and the Secretariat of Citizen Security with 1.5 million pesos in cash to let him escape, as the journalist explained to Radio Fórmula.
The first to die was the family's dog, because, as Carlos Jiménez narrated, Diego Sebastián “N” explained that “it was running around the house very nervously, it drove him to despair and he decided to kill it”.
Journalist Carlos Jiménez also revealed that 15 days before Diego Sebastián “N” committed the multiple homicide, he had an arrest warrant for fraud. Despite this, he was not detained because on August 17th, “the 1st District Judge of the State of Mexico granted him an injunction (amparo) and thus prevented them from being able to arrest him”.
