Where to get a free ICEE on August 18th?
The National ICEE Day 2026 promotion will be available at participating establishments of chains such as AMC Theatres, Regal, Walmart Fuel Stations, Urban Air, Krystal, and Santikos Entertainment.
Availability is subject to stock, and some companies have established additional requirements to access the promotion.
At AMC Theatres, for example, it is necessary to be an AMC Stubs member and register beforehand so that the promotion for a free small ICEE is loaded into the account on August 18th. The offer is limited to one drink per registered member.
At Regal cinemas, Regal Crown Club members who watch a movie on August 18th will be able to receive a free small ICEE at the concession stand, while supplies last.
Meanwhile, at participating Santikos Entertainment locations, the first 250 customers at each location will be able to receive a small ICEE at no cost, with a limit of one per person.
At Urban Air, the promotion requires purchasing a ticket at one of the participating parks to receive the free ICEE, subject to availability.
Because requirements change between establishments, consumers should verify the specific conditions of the location they plan to visit.
ICEE will also give away a home drink machine
The celebration will not end with free drinks. The ICEE Company will also hold a special sweepstakes on August 18th on Facebook and Instagram.
According to the promotion rules, 10 winners will receive an ICEE prize pack, with an approximate value of $100 each.
In addition, there will be one grand prize winner who will receive a prize pack and an at-home ICEE machine, with a total approximate value of $200.
The sweepstakes will be open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington D.C. who are 18 years of age or older.
How to participate in the National ICEE Day sweepstakes?
To participate, consumers can visit a participating establishment and get their drink during National ICEE Day.
Afterward, they must post a photo or video of their ICEE on a Facebook or Instagram story and tag @TheICEECompany during the promotion period.
They can also earn an additional entry by commenting on the official August 18th sweepstakes post with their favorite ICEE-related memory and tagging two friends.
The promotion will begin at 12:00 a.m. ET on August 18, 2026, and end at 11:59 p.m. ET on the same day.
Winners will be randomly selected from valid entries and will be contacted via direct message on Facebook or Instagram, according to the official rules.
