The Ministry of the Interior (Segob) updated this Monday the list of people who remain hospitalized following the derailment of the Interoceanic Train that occurred this Sunday in Oaxaca, which has left 13 dead and 98 injured so far; of those injured, 36 were hospitalized, five of them in serious condition.
Through its social media channels, Segob published that as of nearly 2:00 PM, 34 victims remain hospitalized, ranging from a 3-year-old girl to a 70-year-old man.
Likewise, they shared a telephone number for the relatives of the injured passengers to get in touch: 55-22-30-21-06.

This weekend, the Interoceanic Train derailed with 250 passengers on board between the towns of Nizanda and Chivela while crossing the Salina Cruz–Coatzacoalcos route.
The derailment caused the death of 13 people and one person was reported missing.
Federal authorities reported this morning that a total of four cars derailed.
The first car slid down the embankment to a depth of 6.5 meters, while the second car remained partially suspended, and the other two cars did not sustain serious damage.
Likewise, the Secretary of the Navy, Raymundo Morales, reported that this railroad uses a "scout truck" that travels along the track before the train's departure to report any failures.
In its previous inspection, it was reported that the tracks were in good condition.
