A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake shook eastern Indonesia early Saturday morning, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at 05:58 local time (21:58 GMT) at a shallow depth off the island of Flores, is located 68 kilometers from the city of Ende, in the East Nusa Tenggara province, according to the USGS.
