Amidst his controversy and the concern raised among his followers regarding alleged mental health issues, Aleks Syntek lashed out at Pati Chapoy and journalists in Mexico for reporting “fake stories.”
As he accused on his social media, the journalist and her colleagues from Ventaneando “destroyed my family with gossip.” In addition to this accusation, the singer said that when he leaves Mexico, he will only consider returning if the journalists promise “not to report fake stories.”
“Friends, the only thing I ask is for entertainment journalists not to speculate and to present their news only when they have verified its accuracy. Pati Chapoy and her colleagues destroyed my family with gossip. I will not return to Mexico until they promise not to report fake stories. Thank you,” he wrote.
In the same post, he stated: “And if they like, I will submit to a lie detector test, and if I am proven innocent, I want them to help me put those who convinced the youth of Mexico that I am a danger to this country called ‘Lieland’ in jail.”

Additionally, in his Instagram stories and on X, the singer posted the following phrase without mentioning names: “Everything in this life comes back: the good and the bad, the love you gave, the way you treated others, the times you helped without expecting anything in return, the light you ignited in people; everything comes back.”
It is worth mentioning that Aleks Syntek has been at the center of controversy since his performance in the Benito Juárez borough during the Independence Day festivities, where he lashed out at the audience and ranted against the urban genre and its artists.
Subsequently, the 'Duele el Amor' singer went live, admitting his madness and calling all of Mexico “crazy.” Furthermore, he involved figures such as Paola Rojas and Zague in his scandal.
Now, after saying he is leaving Mexico for England, where he is appreciated, the composer started a fight with Chapoy and the entertainment press.
What happened between Aleks Syntek and Pati Chapoy?
The singer did not provide context for what is happening or the reason behind his controversial messages against the Mexican press and the head of Ventaneando. However, it is known that both figures have a feud dating back to 2025, when the show revealed that the singer was going through a personal and family crisis at that time.
As was reported at the time, Syntek had been unfaithful to his wife Karen Coronado and they were on the verge of separation. It was also said that his children had distanced themselves from him; the show's production team claimed to have material that backed these claims, including audio recordings of the composer speaking about various infidelities.
“Regarding the case of the children and the wife, I understand that one of the young women who was allegedly or apparently his mistress for many years took the phone, spoke to the wife, and told her everything,” Chapoy recounted.
In the same reports, it was stated that Aleks had canceled several performances toward the end of 2025 because he had been admitted to a rehabilitation center and that, in parallel, divorce proceedings from Coronado were underway.
Following the scandal that ensued, Syntek said that everything was part of a campaign against him to damage his image, orchestrated by members of the group Monalisa.
At the beginning of this year, the singer claimed to have been in rehabilitation, but not for addictions, but for "overwork."
