Paola Rojas shared a video on social media in which she thanked the public for the support she received following the controversy with Aleks Syntek. However, she asked that no one be attacked to defend her, as she asserted that what she promotes is respect.
“Well, first of all, to thank you for all the affection and all the support you have expressed to me; let me tell you, please, do not attack anyone to defend me. I asked for respect, but what I also promote is precisely respect,” she explained.
Rojas explained that the “Duele el Amor” singer reached out to her to offer an apology “from the heart” and that she accepted it in the same spirit. She also considered that making mistakes is “human” and assured that, for her part, she considered the controversy closed.
“Aleks Syntek reached out to me, he offered me an apology from the heart, and I, too, from the heart, forgave him, and I consider the matter closed. He acknowledges that he was wrong and I acknowledge that it is human to make mistakes. And that’s it. I’m turning the page and everything is fine with Aleks Syntek. So, well, that’s where the matter ends,” she said.

After Aleks Syntek performed on September 15 in the Benito Juárez borough and offended the attendees, the singer held a live stream in which he stated: “Yes, I am mentally unbalanced, I am crazy”.
In that same live stream, he improvised a song in which he compared himself to historical figures like Salvador Dalí and Jesus Christ. He also mentioned the intimate video of former soccer player Luis Roberto Alves ‘Zague’, which was leaked in June 2018, prior to the World Cup in Russia, and which led to his separation from Rojas.
“Zague has it really big, Paola Rojas is the one to blame for what Zague did,” said the singer.
After Syntek’s statements went viral, Paola Rojas asked the singer not to get involved with her and not to bring back a subject that hurt her family a lot.
“I ask Aleks Syntek not to mess with me and not to bring back to memory a very unfortunate episode that already hurt us enough as a family... I insist, I regret whatever he is going through, but don't mess with me, Aleks, because I have always respected you, so let’s keep it that way, please.”
