The entertainment world in Mexico is in mourning after the passing of César Raziel Hurtado was reported, one of its actors known for his roles in productions such as Vencer la Culpa and Pacto de Sangre. But, what happened?
The news of his passing was made known through a statement issued by “Luciano” from the talent agency he belonged to, known as Elevate: “My dear César. I never thought I would be writing these lines to you. And it makes me angry to have to do it. But you confirm my theory. Great people leave in silence. In this destroyed world, as Eduardo Galeano aptly quotes: 'you were a little fire' that could be distinguished from the sky."

“With your passivity, your good vibes, and your good energy, we connected very well, and I am quite selective when it comes to opening the doors of my home, but I got to know you and I had no doubt, because I vibrate with people of human quality like yours,” he adds.
Later in the text, Luciano said goodbye to him, dedicating words of gratitude and admiration for his talent, although he did not reveal the cause of his death or any previous illnesses.
“There are no answers, although I know we all look for them. You decided to go ahead because God called you for the best project He had for you (...) You will be missed, but not forgotten. Never. I thank life for having crossed paths with you. A thousand thanks again for having trusted me, and the agency. Rest in peace, friend. Luciano,” he notes. Along with the statement, the agency attached two photographs of the actor.
Who was César Hurtado?
César Raziel Hurtado Banda worked on some popular Televisa productions such as the 2023 telenovela Vencer la culpa, where he acted alongside Claudia Martín, Gabriel Soto, Matías Novoa, and María Sorté, to mention a few talents.
He also acted in the series Pacto de sangre with actors such as Bárbara de Regil, Luis Ernesto Franco, Alejandro Nones, and Erika de la Rosa.
For his part, he was part of the cast of films and series such as Sobriedad, me estás matando, which premiered at the beginning of this year; Man on Fire, and Venganza Póstuma.
In addition to being an actor, César dedicated himself to creating art through ink illustrations, according to his Instagram bio.
