Gala Montes spoke out regarding the controversy surrounding Aleks Syntek following the criticism the singer received for his September 15th performance in the Benito Juárez borough and his subsequent statements during a live streaming.
The former housemate of La Casa de los Famosos México 2026 uploaded an Instagram story in which she stated that she understands Syntek and said she is jealous of the singer because, according to her, he is stealing the public's attention from her.

“Dude, I don’t know what’s up with Aleks Syntek, but I love him, I understand him. Aleks, I understand you. I am even jealous of you, I am truly jealous because you are stealing all the people’s attention from me,” said Gala.
The actress also recalled that Syntek spoke about leaving the country because, according to him, there was no support for “people who put in the effort and make good music.” Therefore, she asked him not to do so and assured him that people in Mexico do love him.
“But, dude, I do understand you, Aleks. Don’t go to England, we really do love you in Mexico, I swear,” Gala declared.
Gala’s statements about Syntek come days after the actress and singer was in the eye of the storm after unexpectedly leaving the TelevisaUnivision reality show and starring in various controversies on social media.
What happened with Aleks Syntek during his September 15th performance?
During his September 15th performance in the Benito Juárez borough, the Mexican singer-songwriter had several confrontational moments with part of the audience and also criticized the reggaeton genre.
Although he later admitted that he made a “very serious mistake” and behaved “like a little kid” on stage, Syntek held a live streaming session that generated even more controversy.
During that broadcast, he improvised a song in which he compared himself to historical figures like Jesus Christ and Salvador Dalí. He also mentioned Luis Roberto Alves ‘Zague’ and the intimate video that ended up fracturing his marriage to journalist Paola Rojas.
After that, Rojas asked him not to mess with her, since it was an event that had caused a lot of damage to her family. Later, the journalist revealed that Syntek had offered her an apology and she had accepted it.
