Prince Harry revealed a rule that he and his wife Meghan Markle set for themselves to keep their marriage stable, lasting, and, above all, happy.

During the new masterclass Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss, the son of Princess Diana spoke about the importance of spending time with family and the maximum number of days he can spend away from them.

What rule does Harry follow to be close to Meghan Markle and their children?

Harry confessed that, for him, it is essential not to spend more than 10 days away from his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Archie and Lilibet, as the time he spends with them brings him joy and happiness.

"The key to finding the balance between joy and happiness is not being more than 10 days away from my wife and my children," he expressed.

Harry explained that being with his family provides him with energy, joy, and happiness, although he also finds satisfaction in his work.

"The most important thing for me is the energy, joy, and happiness that being with my family gives me, especially with our children, and the joy and happiness that being on the ground doing my work gives me."

Furthermore, the younger son of King Charles III noted that he seeks a balance between being a husband and father and his professional work, as those aspects are what shape him into the person he is today.

"It's about finding a balance between my work and the purpose behind it, as well as being a dad and a husband, and how all those aspects of my identity intertwine."

Harry and Meghan Markle were married in 2018 and, in 2020, stepped back from their roles within the British royal family and moved to Canada.

The couple has two children: Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.
