I just screened the movie not only at my house, but also at other people's houses. I would call the studios, I would show it to a bunch of people and say 'This filmmaker is incredible'," revealed Cruise.
He added: "When you watch Amores Perros, you can see how deliberate everything was. What he achieved with that was exceptional. He as a human being, and how you can tell that this art is an extension of him. He has a unique voice. He can create a cinematic world that feels authentic. You can see the poet inside him, a guy with a very high level of aesthetics and understanding of this art, and he is searching and exploring, and you can feel his voice."
