American actress Sydney Sweeney dazzled in the new advertising campaign for her lingerie brand, Syrn, in which she reinterprets some of the most popular holiday film classics... In lingerie.
Months ahead of the December season, the star of productions such as Euphoria and Anyone But You decided to jumpstart Christmas with a collection inspired by iconic films like How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, making lingerie the absolute star of the campaign.
The commercial begins with Sydney Sweeney relaxing on a couch while enjoying a dessert in front of the TV, a scene reminiscent of Home Alone. From there, the actress appears recreating various sequences inspired by holiday movies that have left their mark on several generations.
In one of the scenes, the actress evokes Cindy Lou Who, a character from How the Grinch Stole Christmas, while carrying gifts. Later on, she appears in front of a bright moon in a visual reference to The Nightmare Before Christmas, wearing one of the standout pieces from the new collection.
The campaign concludes with several wintry, festive scenes that seek to promote the designs that will hit the market during the upcoming holiday season.
Beyond her acting career, Sydney Sweeney has shown a growing interest in business. With Syrn, she aims to position herself in the competitive lingerie market, currently dominated by brands such as Skims, founded by Kim Kardashian, and Savage X Fenty, created by Rihanna.
When presenting the brand, Sweeney explained that her goal is to develop garments designed for a wide variety of bodies and needs, promoting comfort and personal confidence.
The actress has also noted that she wants the brand to offer options for women to express different facets of their personalities without feeling limited by traditional standards.
The Syrn campaign comes shortly after another collaboration that sparked significant online conversation: her participation in the promotion of Novig, a platform specializing in sports predictions.
According to statements from company executives, Sydney Sweeney not only participated as the face of the campaign but was also involved in the project's creative and strategic aspects.
The actress herself has commented on several occasions that she is interested in being actively involved with the brands she works with and being part of their growth, rather than just acting as a promotional face.
As often happens with many of Sydney Sweeney's public appearances, the new Syrn promotion has sparked divided reactions among social media users.
While some followers praised the campaign's creativity and the aesthetic inspired by Christmas classics, others pointed out that it is a provocative proposal that strays from the family-friendly spirit traditionally associated with these films.
