Banamex users reported problems this Monday, September 7, accessing the mobile application and performing certain banking operations.

Complaints began circulating on social media, where customers pointed out difficulties using the institution's digital services.

Although Banamex has not yet issued a specific statement regarding a widespread outage of the application, the bank's official X account responded to users and acknowledged that there is a "general intermittency" in its system.

"We are experiencing a general intermittency in our system. Our team is working to resolve it as soon as possible," the bank replied to affected customers.

The institution added that, due to the intermittency, it could not provide service at that moment and asked users to try again later.

Reports point mainly to difficulties related to Banamex's digital services, although this does not necessarily mean that all customers are experiencing the same problem.

Therefore, if the Banamex app is not working, it is recommended to verify if it is a temporary intermittency before making several consecutive attempts.

Banamex points out that when both App Banamex and BancaNet are unavailable, users can try again later, use Audiomático, go to an ATM, or visit a branch.

The institution has acknowledged the existence of a general intermittency and stated that its team is working to resolve it, but has not set a specific time for the normalization of service in the cited response.

Therefore, if you need to make a transfer, check your balance, or perform another movement and the Banamex app is failing, an alternative is to wait a few minutes and try again or use one of the alternative channels recommended by the bank.
