In recent days, Altair Jarabo became a trending topic after speculations arose regarding a possible divorce from Frédéric García, the French businessman she married in 2021. Faced with the rumors, the Mexican actress decided to speak publicly about the state of her relationship and clarified how her marriage currently stands.
Versions of a possible separation began to circulate after journalist Alex Kaffie wrote in his column for Diario Basta! that the actress and the businessman no longer share the same roof and have been "living separate lives" for several weeks.
"I don't know if their separation is definitive or if they are just going through a marital crisis," indicated Kaffie, who also claimed that Frédéric García was in Florence, Italy, "living a bachelor's life" while Altair Jarabo "is having fun with people her age in Miami, Florida."
Following this information, in an encounter with the media in Mexico City, the celebrity was questioned about whether the rumors were true, to which she responded that they are not and that she is in a great place in her marriage.
"Nothing could be further from the truth than the idea that I am separating or getting a divorce... It has nothing to do with it for a simple reason: that would mean missing out on my favorite activity in this world, which is kissing and hugging the most wonderful man on earth, who is Frédéric," she said.
She added: "We have spent five incredibly happy years. There is no truth to those rumors. We really didn't care about this rumor, so much so that we didn't come out to clarify it or make a presidential announcement, but truth be told, taking advantage of the fact that you are all here, it has nothing to do with it."
