The return of Prince Harry to the United Kingdom could place him in one of the most awkward moments: crossing paths with his brother, Prince William, during Remembrance Sunday, one of the main British military commemorations, which would mark the first time both have appeared in public together following years of controversy and scandal.
According to reports, the date that could trigger the anticipated meeting is November 8, when Remembrance Sunday events will be held in the United Kingdom. For Harry, the ceremony has special significance due to the 10 years he served in the British Army and his two tours of duty in Afghanistan.
However, his return does not guarantee that he will be able to occupy a place alongside the rest of the royal family at the Cenotaph in London, as he is no longer an active working member of the Crown since moving with Meghan Markle to the United States.
In the event that he participates in the celebrations, Harry would be present at tributes and meetings independently and discreetly, without appearing with his brother or taking center stage.

The potential meeting is particularly tense because Harry and William have been estranged for years, and their relationship does not appear to have been resolved by the Duke of Sussex's return to British soil.
A source noted that living in the same country again does not mean that the brothers will reconcile immediately.
In fact, there is a possibility that both will be present during the same commemorations but physically separated to avoid having all the attention focused on the family conflict rather than the veterans being honored.
Furthermore, it should be noted that William appears to have no desire to approach his brother or hold public acts with him, as there is still no reconciliation between the two, nor has he forgiven him for damaging the image of the royal family in his multiple interviews and in the book Spare, where he attacked various members and accused the institution of being racist.
Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have plans to rebuild their lives in the UK with their children Archie and Lilibet, or at least remain for an extended period, their return does not necessarily mean a reconciliation with William.
Remembrance Sunday could become the most evident proof of that distance: two brothers in the same country, honoring fallen soldiers, but possibly without sharing the stage.
