The preliminary autopsy performed on the American actress, model, and singer Hayden Panettiere, who passed away yesterday at age 36, ruled out signs of violence or foul play, pending the official cause of death.

"No signs of trauma were found that could have contributed to her passing. The cause and manner of death remain pending a more exhaustive investigation and the performance of additional studies," the Greenville County Coroner's Office in South Carolina, where she was found dead, reported in a statement on Monday.

The statement explained that Panettiere was in cardiac arrest when emergency services arrived at a residence located in the Judson Mill Lofts residential complex in Greenville, following a distress call.
Panettiere, who began her career as a child star and developed a long career in television and film, is remembered for her role as Claire Bennet in the hit series 'Heroes'.
And, above all, as Juliette Barnes in the musical drama 'Nashville,' for which she received two Golden Globe nominations. A series she starred in for 128 episodes between 2012 and 2018.
She also starred in 'Remember the Titans,' 'Raising Helen,' 'Ice Princess,' and 'Scream IV'.
Raised in Palisades, New York, her mother was a soap opera actress and her father was a fire department captain. As a child, she appeared in popular television series such as 'Ally McBeal' and 'Malcolm in the Middle'.
Panettiere spoke openly about her personal struggles from childhood through adulthood in her memoir titled 'This Is Me: A Reckoning,' published in May.
The artist was the mother of a daughter, Kaya Klitschko, born in 2014 from her relationship with her ex-partner, the Ukrainian former world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko.
In an interview with 'Good Morning America' in 2022, recovered by ABC News, Panettiere spoke openly about her struggle with alcoholism and postpartum depression.

Her brother, Jansen Panettiere, passed away suddenly at the age of 28 in February 2023 due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart) and aortic valve complications, according to a statement released by his family.
