Pensioners of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) can now mark the payment dates for September 2026 on their calendars, but there is an important difference they must keep in mind: not all retirees will receive their monthly payment on the same day, which is why it is important to know the exact day the deposit will land.

Similarly, the bimonthly payment for the Welfare Pension for Older Adults will also be deposited in September, so its beneficiaries are also awaiting the deposit that will take place during the patriotic month.
When will the IMSS pension for September 2026 be deposited?
The payment for said month is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, for IMSS pensioners. The institute's general rule states that those who receive the deposit directly collect it on the first business day of each month.
When will the ISSSTE pension for September 2026 be deposited?
ISSSTE will pay the pension corresponding to September in advance on Friday, August 28, 2026. This means that those who receive their pension will be able to access the money before the next month officially begins.
