The Prosecution released text messages on Monday in sent by the Hispanic teenager found dead in singer D4vd's car, in which aspects of the relationship between the artist and another woman are discussed.

The singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, 21, is charged with the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernández, sexual assault, and mutilation of a body, in a case that has captured international headlines.

"I'll tell my dad so many f***ing lies about you; I swear, I'll end your career and your life, I'll destroy everything," Rivas Hernández wrote, according to information cited by the Los Angeles Times.

The messages made public today, on the fifth day of the preliminary hearing that will determine if the rapper will face trial for the murder of the teenager, were reportedly written by the girl after an argument regarding a relationship between another woman and the singer.

Other communications between the two revealed days earlier that the teenager, who met the singer in 2021 when she was 11, was allegedly pregnant and had an abortion in 2024. The couple reportedly exchanged more than 1,200 texts in a 24-hour period, according to the newspaper.

Some are from April 22, 2025, three days before the rapper released his debut album titled 'Withered'.

The Prosecution maintains that the couple met the night after at the singer's home in Hollywood, where D4vd allegedly murdered her.

The preliminary hearing in the case of Hernández's murder is expected to conclude this Monday. Her body was found in a state of decomposition last September in the trunk of a car registered in the singer's name, which was towed from a Hollywood street after remaining abandoned.

The teenager's parents had reported her missing on three separate occasions in 2024, after she began an apparent romance with the rapper.

At the start of the preliminary hearings, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said he has not ruled out seeking the death penalty against D4vd, who has been in custody since last April.

Defense attorneys for the rapper, who managed to get several of his songs onto the Billboard charts, have maintained that he is innocent.
