The controversy surrounding Emma Coronel grew again on social media after an influencer who had hurled harsh insults at El Chapo's wife ended up offering a public apology after allegedly receiving death threats related to “La Chapiza.” The video of the moment the TikToker apologized to the model went viral on the platform and received hundreds of comments.
Since being released from prison, Emma Coronel has become a highly followed personality on social media because most users want to know what she is like and how she lives, as the wife of El Chapo Guzmán, considered one of the most powerful and dangerous drug traffickers in the world.
Although the cameras are on her and she is known for being the romantic partner of the former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, there are people who do not recognize her and do not know who she is, such as the case of the influencer known as Chico Rabia, who joined a live stream where several people were present, including Emma Coronel, and began making inappropriate comments.
In the circulating video, the content creator can be heard insulting those present, including Emma Coronel, whom he called “foul-smelling,” “disgusting,” and “lacking hygiene.” After these words, the users who were on the broadcast began to warn him that the model was El Chapo's wife.
For her part, Coronel, without getting angry, asked that no profanity be used and asked how she could remove the influencer from the broadcast: “And how do I remove him, sir?” she said. After what happened, El Chapo's partner did a live stream and allowed Chico Rabia to connect to her broadcast.
Once he entered, the first thing the TikToker did was apologize to Coronel: “How are you, boss? I was passing by here because I wanted to apologize for that. I accept my mistake, which, honestly, honestly, I went too far,” said Chico Rabia, to which the model immediately replied, “I accept the apology, don’t worry.”
The TikToker commented that after his actions he received death threats on social media telling him to “fly high,” so internet users pointed out that behind these intimidations could be La Chapiza, a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel led by Los Chapitos (the sons of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán Loera, mainly Iván Archivaldo and Jesús Alfredo Guzmán).
“They take good care of me,” commented the celebrity, referring to her followers, while mentioning that she had called for them not to attack him: “I was telling them not to write anything bad to him, or make any mean comments, and to be calm, that nothing happened,” she indicated.
