Frankie Muniz reunites with his TV family in the first teaser for 'Malcolm in the Middle: Life Still Unfair', the return of the popular early 2000s series to the small screen, which is scheduled to premiere on April 10 on the Hulu platform.
"My life is fantastic now, I just had to get away from my family," says Muniz in the trailer released on Hulu's YouTube channel.

The actor, who plays the child prodigy Malcolm in the series, says the line before a series of chaotic scenes unfolds featuring his parents, Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek).
The teaser shows Malcolm returning home with his daughter (Keeley Karsten) after hiding from them for more than a decade, forced to attend his parents' 40th wedding anniversary party.

In addition to appearances by Cranston and Kaczmarek, the trailer also shows the protagonist's brothers: Reese, played by Justin Berfield; Francis, played by Christopher Masterson; and Dewey, a role taken on by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark replacing Erik Per Sullivan, who played the youngest brother in the original series.
'Malcolm in the Middle' aired on Fox from 2000 to 2006 after seven seasons.

The series followed the life of a dysfunctional middle-class family dealing with daily life and a brilliant son.
Throughout its history, the series won seven Emmys and received seven Golden Globe nominations.
